First responders are the first line of defense against a disaster, and alerting you is the single most important phase of any emergency response. The M1501 and M1520 are two devices designed specifically with your needs in mind.   With these devices and the SPARKGAP wireless system, you receive your alert message quickly and reply to the dispatcher directly from your pager.

The M1501 (Responder) is an ultra-tough Lexan™ pager with an intuitive 4-button interface.  It can be a member of up to 16 groups, each with its own distinct alert, with both vibrate and melody options.  With its optional Advanced Charger, it has an amplified speaker, contact closures, and extra battery slot, and a serial port.  All messages are protected with 128-bit Encryption, so you know your mission won’t be compromised and your messages are authentic.

The M1520 is a handheld Mobile Data Terminal.  In addition to the group alerting and encryption capabilities present in the M1501, it also supports mobile data forms (wants & warrants, license checks, etc.) and send and receive email.

SPARKGAP connects directly to CAD, and with the SPARKGAP Dispatch Client (SDC), dispatches and alerts can originate from outside the 911 center.   From any PC with IP access to the SPARKGAP, chiefs, captains, and other authorized users can initiate their own alerts, track replies, and keep a history of all messages.  With an optional service agreement, you can even roam onto the SkyTel™ network to stay in touch when you leave your agency coverage!
